Meet Toronto Maple Leafs Matthew Knies new girlfriend Ella Huber
Photos have been circulating online lately that have shown Toronto Maple Leafs Matthew Knies enjoying a Euro trip with his new girlfriend Ella Huber.
Matthew Knies was spotted visiting the famous Colosseum in Rome, Italy, but he wasn't alone. He appeared to have his arm around a lovely lady, holding her ever so tightly. Who is she you might ask? Her name is Ella Huber, and she's an established hockey player in women's professional leagues and has won a championship with Team USA.
Ella Huber is a 21-year-old from Northfield, Illinois, who has been playing professional hockey since 2016. She's been a member of the Chicago Mission 16U and 19U squads, as well as having played for Team USA U18.
Over the last three seasons, she's been playing for the University of Minnesota. She had a fantastic season last year, scoring 18 goals and 24 assists in 39 games.
Matthew Knies has been one of the Toronto Maple Leafs best young players. He was a second round draft pick by the team in 2021 and has played in 83 games for them so far in his NHL career. He is coming off a solid campaign, having scored 15 goals and adding 20 assists in 80 games.
