Mitch Marner rumored to have submitted his 9-team trade list
Mitch Marner is very likely to get traded this offseason and now a rumor claims that he is limiting Toronto Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving to a few teams he would be willing to go to via trade.
2024-25 is the final year of Mitch Marner's contract and he is then going to be an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career. Due to this, it is highly likely that Marner will be traded but he has a no-trade clause that allows him to reject a trade he is a part of.
However, a rumor has arisen claiming that Marner has submitted a list to Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving telling him the nine teams he will green-light a trade to.
According to [redacted], whose son [redacted] has the same agent (Darren Ferris) as Mitch Marner, Marner has submitted a list of 9 teams that he would be willing to be traded to. Take it for what it's worth.
If true, this means Treliving will be limited to about a third of the NHL and will have to see which of the nine teams offer up the best package possible for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Only time will tell to see if this is true or not but at this point, everything is up in the air and anything is possible for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
