Much to the displeasure of Bruins fans Marner sold the high stick and looked to take a dive. Bruins fans had no problem sharing their outrage for Marner's actions on social media.
Despite Bruins fans' complaints, Marner was not called for embellishment on the play and Carlo was assessed a two-minute minor. After the game, it will be interesting to see if the Bruins or Carlo have any comments on Marner's actions.
