The Maple Leafs Next Roster Move is Now Revealed
With this player succeeding in the minors, it may be time for the Leafs to give him a chance.
Robertson Proving He Is Ready for NHL Play
Nick Robertson was sadly sent down to the minors to start the season, after a pretty impressive training camp. Robertson has unfortunately been shafted for a few seasons now, as his contract allows him to be sent down without needing waivers.
Keefe says Robertson and Malgin both had great camps but it came down to one requires waivers and one doesn't: «That's the reality of the situation.»
Robertson has not let that get to him though, as he has started the year off strong with the Marlies in the AHL. Despite the potential frustration of not being given an opportunity with the Leafs, Robertson has put his head down and continued working for his chance, with 7 points in 7 games to start the year.

Robertson Likely the Next in Line Forward For The Leafs
Rumours of a potential Robertson trade have been circling since he was sent to the Marlies after camp. However, if that doesn't materialize, it's more than likely that Robertson will be the first in line to be called up if a Leaf forward goes down with an injury. The NHL season is long and arduous, so that possibility is more than likely.
Please trade Nick Robertson before his value is zero
