After being placed on LTIR earlier this season, it comes as no surprise that Mark Stone of the Vegas Golden Knights is back ahead of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Vegas Golden Knights have become experts at exploiting the NHL's LTIR system, and now it appears they've done it again, as Mark Stone has now officially been cleared to return to practice.
Vegas announced Mark Stone is cleared to practice, will be at morning skate today in a non-contact jersey.
For the second straight year, the Golden Knights captain will return on the eve of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, as Elliotte Friedman reveals he is on the verge of a return.
He is skating in a non-contact jersey however, so there's doubts that he will play a game before the playoffs begin, but when game one of the playoffs rolls around, he will be taking his place in this star studded lineup as they look to defend their Stanley Cup crown.
