BREAKING: Three Important Members of the Washington Capitals on the Trade Block
The Washington Capitals had their worst season in a long time as they failed to clinch a playoff spot for the first time since 2014.
This won't make Alexander Ovechkin happy, but the Caps may need to rebuild their roster if they want to be competitive next season.
Brian MacLellan, the Capitals' GM, has already started the process by placing three important members of the team on the trade block.
Wilson, Kuznetsov, and Mantha Traded Over the Summer?
Tom Wilson, Evgeny Kuznetsov, and Anthony Mantha are all important members of the Caps. If they're traded, they could bring a great return for Washington.
If the Caps want to be competitive next season, they'll have to make some moves in the off-season.
However, their high salaries might complicate things. Kuznetsov will earn $7.8M for an additional 2 years, Wilson $5.166M for one more season, and Mantha $5.7M.
Do you think they'll get traded?
As reported on Habs Fanatics - The Caps just placed 3 big names on the trade market, including a very interesting option for Kent Hughes
