Some great news for Alex Ovechkin has just been released on Twitter.
Ovechkin Will Officially Return to Russia
According to his agent, Alex Ovechkin will return to Russia in order to attend Danis Zaripov's last game in the KHL, with the Kazan Ak-Bars, on August 9.
Per his agent, #ALLCAPS Alex Ovechkin plans on attending Danis Zaripov's farewell game August 9.

Zaripov is an absolute legend in the KHL. He has been playing since the 1999-00 season. He registered a total of 978 points in 1326 games with Chelyabinsk Mechel, Kazan Ak-Bars and Magnitogorsk Metallurg.
It seems like it's going to be a great moment, and Ovechkin's presence at the game shows the impact that Zaripov had in the KHL!
