Capitals vs. Bruins: First round series kicks off Saturday night

The Washington Capitals will face the Boston Bruins in the first round of the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs, as the Bruins clinched the third seed after forcing overtime against the Islanders.
The Capitals will have home-ice advantage in the series, which will open at Capital One Arena on Saturday night (7:15 PM ET, NBC). The rest of the series schedule has yet to be announced.
Capitals-Bruins Game 1 is set for Saturday at 7:15 p.m. in Washington on NBC in the United States; Sportsnet, CBC and TVA Sports in Canada. The rest of the playoff schedule is not out yet.
The Capitals are 3-4-0 against the Bruins in the regular season with two of their three wins coming in the shootout. The two teams close out their season series in Washington on Tuesday night (7 PM ET, NBC Sports Washington locally, NHL Network nationally).
