Video shows David Pastrnak asking his coach if he can fight Tkachuk
Last night the Stanley Cup Playoffs got heated between the Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers. After tension between the two teams all night Bruins star David Pastrnak decided to ask his coach if he could fight Matthew Tkachuk and end the back and forth.
Bruins forward David Pastrnak is not known to be a player who likes to fight. Last night that all changed after he was provoked by Florida Panthers star Matthew Tkachuk. After a back-and-forth between the two Matthew Tkachuk asks David Pastrnak to fight. David Pastrnak can be seen returning to his bench asking his coach if he can fight. His coach seems to say 'Yeah if you want to go for it'.
Pasta and Tkachuk agreed to fight before going at it the next shift!
The next time the two were on the ice the fireworks began. The two players would end up dropping the gloves and David Pastrnak would get taken down pretty quickly but then try and go back in for round two against the more experienced fighter in Matthew Tkachuk.

Both players would receive a five-minute major for fighting and a 10-minute misconduct as well. While the Boston Bruins did not end up winning the game David Pastrnak was able to bring some momentum and juice back to his team heading into the next game of the series.
