On Friday night, Vincent Arseneau, a veteran of the Montreal Canadiens' AHL team pulled off something unreal after a fight with a player from the Syracuse Crunch.

The Laval Rocket and Syracuse Crunch; the AHL affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning, faced off tonight in early-season AHL action. During the game, Laval Rocket veteran forward and enforcer Vincent Arseneau decided to drop the gloves with Syracuse Crunch forward Kale Kessy. Both players are seasoned enforcers and were ready for a heavyweight bout.

The fight was mostly dominated by Vincent Arseneau who landed several big hits to the head of Kale Kessy. After the two fighters were broken up it was revealed that Vincent Arseneau had suffered more damage dislocating multiple fingers. As he was being escorted back to the penalty box, in a wild bit of bravery Arseneau popped both of his fingers back into place.

Hockey players are known for their incredible toughness, however, it is not often that a player dislocates a body part and then nonchalantly just pops it right back in. Eventually, both Vincent Arseneau and Kale Kessy would get out of the box and back onto the ice. The Rocket currently lead the game 3-2 over the Crunch in the 2nd period.

At the age of 32, Vincent Arseneau likely won't be able to earn an NHL opportunity out of this incredible display of toughness. He has likely influenced players like Arber Xhekaj over the years and potentially Arber's brother Florian, who is also in the AHL with Laval alongside Arseneau. He will surely earn the respect of his teammates and give a gruesome reminder to the prospects coming up for the Canadiens what it looks like to be a hockey player at the professional level.
