In an interview this morning, Sheldon Keefe gave an update on the status of John Klingberg's injury. He suffered an upper-body injury, and today was his first time on the ice since September 27th.

Klingberg was injured during the September 27th preseason game against the Buffalo Sabres.
Klingberg Hopeful to Return for Pre-Season Finale Saturday
Keefe also reported that Klingberg is hopeful that he will be able to make his return for the final preseason game. Keefe notes that this is pretty soon, however, he is on track to be back for the start of the season.
The Leafs opener is set for next week against the Montreal Canadiens on October 11th.
