BREAKING: Recent Fifth Overall Pick Leaves the NHL For Good
In breaking news, this recent 5th overall pick has now left the NHL for good, after not being able to break through in the league.
Olli Juolevi Leaves NHL for Swedish Hockey League
Olli Juolevi never really made an imprint in his brief stint in the NHL. He played for the Canucks, Panthers, and Red Wings, never really being able to get a secure roster spot. After signing a PTO with Arizona this offseason, he has now been released and is set to play in Sweden.
Olli Juolevi has signed a contract to play for Timr IK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL).
Juolevi was invited to training camp on a PTO by the Arizona Coyotes this summer but was released on September 26th.
Hopefully, Juolevi will see more success in Sweden, closer to his home of Finland. It is likely, though, that this will mark the end of his NHL career.
