Phillip Danault is having an outstanding season in his first year with the Kings, as evidenced by his 39 points in 65 games.
Danault has a career-high 21 goals.
With the absence of veteran Drew Doughty, Danault received a big promotion.
The Kings have so much confidence in him and his impact is so great with the team's youth that he has become an assistant captain.
A nice proof of recognition from the Californian team.
