According to ESPN's Emily Kaplan, Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Robin Lehner will undergo knee surgery and miss the rest of the season.
He was injured on March 8, but has played through the pain since.
Unfortunately, his body has given out on him and he can't take it anymore.
With the injury to backup goaltender Laurent Brossoit, young Logan Thompson will have to hold down the fort and do whatever it takes to get the Golden Knights into the playoffs.
To be continued...
