It's becoming more and more likely that Jack Eichel's days as a Buffalo Sabres are coming to an end with multiple teams across the league trying to acquire the star forward.
On Friday, another team entered the race, the Minnesota Wild. According the Michael Russo of The Athletic, the Wild have held initial talks with the Sabres for a potential trade involving Jack Eichel.
The Wild have multiple young pieces that the Sabres could ask for in return, including Marco Rossi, Matthew Boldy, Joel Eriksson Ek, and Kaapo Kahkonen.
Eichel, 24, played in only 21 games this season due to a neck injury. In those 21 games, he tallied 18 points (2 G, 16 A), 6 penalty minutes, and is a -9.
