Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes has done very well since his arrival in Montreal.
Starting with the trade of Alexander Romanov for the 13th overall pick in the last draft, which he then traded to Chicago for Kirby Dach.
So far this season, Dach has 16 points in 19 games, his best career total. He plays like a true third overall pick in 2019.
Conversely, Romanov has struggled since his Long Island debut, with six points in 20 games.
On social media, fans are not being kind to the former Canadiens defenseman.
"How did Kent Hughes get a first round pick for Romanov? The guy is atrocious."
The only good thing about Romanov, according to New York fans: he gives solid hits. That's about it.
Will Lou Lamoriello regret his choice?
To be continued.
