In his most recent piece, Marc-Antoine Godin of "The Athletic", stated that another Habs player could end up with the Arizona Coyotes.
According to Godin, it would be more realistic for Drouin or Hoffman to end up in the desert, instead of Shea Weber's contract.
The names of Drouin and Weber were linked for some time with the Coyotes. However, Hoffman's name in the discussions with Arizona is new.
Hoffman, who earns $4.5 million a year, has two seasons left on his contract.
In 67 games last season, the Ontario native had 35 points.
