Arizona Coyotes Announce Hilariously Ironic Sponsor
Arizona State University's Mullett Arena has now seen three NHL games. It may be the smallest rink in the NHL by a factor of 3 times, but it gives off a good atmosphere.
However, despite the ice being nice, the locker rooms are deplorable, and no matter how the Coyotes attempt to redeem themselves, they just dig themselves deeper into the hole of being the laughing stock of the NHL.
Now, just as the drama around their arena was fading, they announced their new helmet sponsor. Just as the Coyotes is the team nobody seems to want anymore, their sponsor, Goodwill is the place people donate the things they no longer need ironic - right?
It's good to see the Coyotes get a small extra revenue stream, but this is just hilariously ironic.
Their hockey team may be underwhelming, but at least watching the team make moves like this keeps things entertaining.
