BREAKING: the Columbus Blue Jackets have a trade in place
The Columbus Blue Jackets have been shopping their top defenseman Vladislav Gavrikov for a while now.
It appears teams are now pulling the trigger on multiple deals, as Gavrikov is on the move from Columbus.
The deal looks to be a multi-team deal, as before Gavrikov's deal can be finalized, there needs to be another transaction in the league to happen first, According to The Athletic's Aaron Portzline.
Jarmo Keklainen was shopping Vladislav Gavrikov, but the asking price was too high for many teams, with the General Manager of the Columbus Blue Jackets asking for multiple picks for the defenseman.
Wherever Gavrikov lands, will be happy with his affordable cap hit and his reliable presence on both ends of the ice.
