Ryan O'Reilly Reveals The Conversation He Had With His Dad After His Trade to Toronto
Ryan O'Reilly got to live out his childhood dream of playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs last night.
After being traded from the St. Louis Blues, he was immediately all-in.
When he first got traded to St. Louis from the Buffalo Sabres, he said in his first press conference that he wanted to win a cup in St. Louis. He did it that very season.
He shared the same sentiment with his dad this time around:
What if I help bring a Stanley Cup back to Toronto?
His dad replied:
That's the right attitude to have!
It's no small feat, but O'Reilly wants to bring a cup back to Toronto. It's now or never, can he pull it off?
