The Boston Bruins could have just lost one of its most important players due to a series of terrible events.
Bruins star forward Brad Marchand has been spotted limping off the ice after leading the Bruins in their morning stretch ahead of a pivotal Game 4 in their second round Stanley Cup Playoff series against the New York Islanders, according to a breaking news report from Boston Bruins insider Fluto Shinzawa of the Boston Globe.
We don't know much about how Marchand was hurt right now, but according to Shinzawa, the damage appears to be on the right side of his lower body. Marchand "looked" to prefer his right foot, according to Shinzawa, and that's all we have thus far.
Marchand has been a tremendous force for the Bruins in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, scoring the game-winning goal in overtime in Game 3 to give the Bruins a 2-1 series lead.
Stay tuned for more details.
