There's no secret the Canadiens and Bruins don't like each other. Habs fans hate Bruins fans and Bruins fans hate Habs fans. However tonight during the game between the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens, the fans in TD Gardens, had a USA, USA chant going on.
Granted Boston is in the US, but they have players from other countries also including Canada, the country their captain Patrice Bergeron is from aswell as Brad Marchand who scored a hat trick tonight for the Bruins. Curtis Lazar also from Canada scored the Bruins 2 other of the Bruins 5 goals tonight.
This was meant to be a jab at the Montreal Canadiens, but ended up not making sense to hockey fans other then the ones in attendance in TD Gardens.
