Penguins Trio Sets New NHL Record

Last night Evgeni Malkin made his return vs the Anaheim Ducks to help set an NHL record. The iconic trio of Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and Kris Letang, are the longest trio in NHL history.
Passing NHL legends Jean Beliveau, Ralph Backstrom, and The pocket rocket Henri Richard who had 15 seasons together with the Montreal Canadiens. As well as Los Angeles Kings, Dustin Brown, Anze Kopitar, and goaltender Jonathan Quick also with 15 seasons together.
The Penguins trio has been part of 3 Stanley Cup beating the Detroit Red Wings in 7 games in 2009, again in 2016 beating the San Jose Sharks in 6 games, and repeating as Stanley Cup champs beating the Nashville Predators in 6 games.
