We just learned in the last few minutes that former Montreal Canadiens prospect in 2017, 56th overall, Josh Brook, will get a chance to make his mark with the Calgary Flames.
He has signed a professional tryout contract.
The 23-year-old Brook has been bothered by injuries more often than not and played six games with the Laval Rocket and six games with the Trois-Rivieres Lions last season.
In seven playoff games with Trois-Rivieres, Brook recorded six points.
