Montreal Canadiens young defenseman Arber Xhekaj had quite a game yesterday. With 10 checks, Xhekaj played on the right side of Joel Edmundson.
St-Louis decided to leave Chris Wideman out of the game and give the young lefty a chance to play on the right.
In Wideman's absence, Xhekaj received a nice promotion and played on the second power play.
