The Florida Panthers have been busy, and they won't be stopping soon. The Panthers are still interested in Claude Giroux despite trading forward Frank Vatrano to the New York Rangers for almost $2 million. After the Flyers icon plays his 1000th game on Thursday, it should be trade time.

Giroux talks have kept Panthers scouts busy for weeks. The Panthers' offer appears to be focused on Tippett. He was demoted earlier this season due to inconsistency. This season, the former first-round choice has six goals and 14 points in 42 NHL games and 18 points in 12 minor-league games. Tippett's game is made for the NHL, he simply needs more ice time and a longer leash to score 20 goals a season.

If the Panthers' talks break through, Giroux might end up with the Colorado Avalanche, Calgary Flames, Nashville Predators, or Washington Capitals. His resume speaks for itself, and he is ready to leave the Flyers. He recently confessed that this is his worst season with the team. Asking price; First-round pick, top prospect, and young NHL ready forward.
