A video has just surfaced of Jon Cooper's post-game comments on Nazem Kadri's overtime goal.
During the 2021 playoffs between the Lightning and Islanders, forward Ondrej Palat scored a very important goal against New York, when Tampa Bay clearly had seven players on the ice.
On the sequence, the officials had completely missed it and the goal counted.
Lightning had too many men on go-ahead goal. Barry Trotz after seeing replay: "Seven f**king guys. There's seven guys on the ice. On the f**king goal. It's right there."
Check out the result:
Conversely, instead of Jon Cooper being angry, it was Barry Trotz who didn't find it funny.
