The Arizona Coyotes have claimed goaltender Harri Sateri in a trade.
The 32-year-old Finnish goaltender had signed a season-long contract with the Leafs, but had to go through the balloting process.
In addition to winning gold with Finland at the last Olympics, Sateri had an outstanding season in the KHL with a 2.02 goals-against-average and .926 save percentage in 38 games.
