Clearly, when you saw defenseman Darnell Nurse play, you could tell he was playing hurt.
He confirmed the rumors after his team lost Game 4 to Colorado.
He played the entire playoffs with a torn hip flexor suffered at the end of the regular season.
The only rest he got was during his suspension for headbutting Los Angeles Kings forward Philip Danault in the first round.
