The Washington Capitals announced yesterday that Alexander Ovechkin will miss a few games with a lower-body injury.
He will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.
The forward missed practice and last game against the Vegas Golden Knights, where the Capitals lost 6-2.
In 48 games so far this season, Ovechkin has 52 points, including 30 goals.
