Evander Kane has offically cleared waivers, according to San Jose Sharks journalist Curtis Pashelka.
The other 31 teams in the league had until yesterday to grab him for free. They didn't do it.
Imagine being ignored 31 times. Evander Kane will join the Barracuda in the AHL. (Sharks club)
Kane, 30, has 49 points (22 goals) in 56 games last season. He's a great hockey player with some off-ice issues.
He'll stay in the minors. He's signed until 2025 and makes $7 million.
