The NHL trade market is heating up. We are looking at what could be one of the craziest trade deadlines in recent memory, as cap space is causing teams to become more creative.

Internal sources have revealed to us that five names are officially on the market. These players are as such:

1. Bo Horvat - Vancouver Canucks (C)
It has already been publicized that Horvat has been placed on the trade block. Following the falling-out between Vancouver's captain and management, where Horvat rejected the team's final offer for an extension, Horvat was shot up to the top of the trade block.

He won't come cheap, but his move is inevitable.

2. Jakob Chychrun - Arizona Coyotes (D)
Chychrun's trade will be a true blockbuster. Locked up for another two seasons at $4.6-million makes Chychrun the ideal trade target for any contending team with a long-term window.

He's a true top-pairing defenseman, who's putting up positive results in Arizona. He's as close as a team can find to a true superstar defender on the market.

3. Sean Monahan - Montreal Canadiens (C)
Sean Monahan will go down as one of the greatest trade acquisitions in recent memory. Being acquired as a cap dump, alongside a first round pick, Monahan will likely fetch another first for the Montreal Canadiens. Talk about getting something from nothing.

4. John Klingberg - Anaheim Ducks (D)
It was surprising when John Klingberg opted to go to Anaheim on a 1-year, $7-million deal. It did, however, give him the flexibility to be able to choose the team he could chase a Stanley Cup with come deadline time. It is essentially a gift for the Ducks, who will get great assets from a trade, and Klingberg could be the piece that brings a team into contention.

5. Patrick Kane - Chicago Blackhawks (RW)
Patrick Kane is the hottest name on the market. The 2007 1st overall pick is in the talk for the greatest American-born player of all time, and will be a true luxury boost for a playoff team.

With the Blackhawks entering a full rebuild, Kane will change destinations for the first time in his career. It will be odd to see him in different threads.

These players will almost definitely be traded at or before this year's trade deadline. Odds are, one of them will lift the Stanley Cup above their heads this season.
