Florida Panthers Forced to Get Creative To Stay Under Cap
With the upcoming activation of star defender Aaron Ekblad, the Florida Panthers have had to get creative to stay under the salary cap.
Due to this, Rudolfs Balcers has been placed on waivers. Balcers signed with the Panthers after having been bought out by the San Jose Sharks.
Balcers could be an interesting piece for a team looking to add a dependable bottom-six piece with defensive instincts.
The Florida Panthers cap situation is brutal, and they may have just lost a young, promising player because of it.
