Former Oilers head coach Craig MacTavish is hired in the NHL

The St. Louis Blues have announced the hiring of former Edmonton Oilers head coach Craig MacTavish as an assistant coach.
MacTavish's last coaching experience was in 2019-2020 with the Yaroslavl Lokomotiv in the KHL.
He did, however, serve as head coach of the Oilers from 2000-2009.
