The responses today from President Scott Smith and CEO Tom Renney are revolting.
Hockey Canada President Scott Smith said he believes the number who participated is more than 4-6 players. "It definitely wasn't four to six. It was larger than that." MP Peter Julian notes that this is disturbing Hockey Canada doesn't know the number.
Outgoing CEO Tom Renney said Hockey Canada has not received a complete report and that he does not know the number of players who cooperated with the investigation. He estimates only 4-6 players participated in the probe.
Hockey Canada president Scott Smith says investments were liquidated to cover the cost of the suit and says Hockey Canada settled on behalf of the 8 John Doe players, even though they did not know the identity of the players involved.
That's outrageous!
