Hot Mic Catches Linesman Drop The F-Bomb After Being Hit By a Puck
Being an on-ice official isn't the safest job. There are fast, strong players everywhere, and flying rubber discs going around at a hundred kilometres an hour. These circumstances sometimes end with a referee or a linesman getting injured.
Linesman Kiel Murchison was unfortunately caught in odd position during a dump-in during the Chicago-Boston game.
His reaction was clearly unprofessional, but it was valid for the situation - getting hit by a puck hurts. However, he happened to be caught by a hot mic just as he said it.
Luckily, he wasn't too hurt, and he was able to officiate the game until the end, when Boston ultimately won 6-1.
