According to what Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports on the JiC show, Jeff Gorton and Kent Hughes will have to help the current group on defense very quickly.
The injuries to Joel Edmundon and Mike Matheson are hurting the CH.
« The injury to Mike Matheson, I hope people realize how much it hurts. It hurts for the learning of the youth. David Savard and Chris Wideman are the only two who are able to spend time with the kids and help them. You need Mike Matheson and Joel Edmundson."
"I'm looking forward to seeing how things play out. I'm sure at some point Jeff Gorton and Kent Hughes will have no choice. We're going to have to give this group some help. » Even if the youngsters are successful, it is certain that a little more depth will be needed soon.
Remember that Darren Dreger said the same thing yesterday on TSN. A sign that a trade seems imminent for the Canadiens
