Since Jack Eichel was traded to the Vegas Golden Knights, they have underperformed by their standards. With Vegas 28-20-4 since the trade & 4-7-1 since his debut, the Golden Knight in shining armor has absorbed some criticism on the interweb. Raising the question: Is Jack Eichel Bad Vibes?
I say, Nay! The team's losing streak is hardly Eichel's fault, even though he would probably say it was his fault because that's what leaders do. Furthermore, their record since the trade says more about the departure of Alex Tuch than it does about the arrival of Eichel. Additionally, VGK is riddled with injuries at the moment, including arguably their most important player, Netminder Robin Lehner. So I wouldn't overanalyze the situation just yet.
With their playoff chances growing slimmer each day, will they have what it takes to make the dance? Will they rise up if they do make it?
