Jeff Petry's wife, Julie, went back to the famous threats she received earlier this season.
On Karl Alzner and Stephen Whyno's Alz Caps podcast, Julie Petry mentioned that she is aware that her husband is not having an amazing season, but when she read the infamous message, she was compelled to respond to the person.
"I figured enough was enough. If someone could write this kind of thing to me in private, that I had to denounce it publicly to say that it is unacceptable, because there are humans and families involved. This person attacked my husband as a father." - Julie Petry
Following that, she got messages of apology.
"There were three people - I remember their names - who had written me nasty comments and came to apologize and said they didn't think I would read the whole thing." - Julie Petry
All's well that ends well.
