Montreal Canadiens forward Jonathan Drouin took part in an all-star ball hockey game yesterday, mixing tennis players, hockey players and Quebec stars.

The event took place at the IGA Stadium, in conjunction with the National Bank Open.

Of course, seeing Drouin play yesterday, everyone wanted to know about his wrist, which was operated on last April.

It's all over," he said to a handful of media members. I've started skating again, I've started playing hockey again. It feels good to play hockey for real, not just skating around for 2-3 months. The rehabilitation was great. Unfortunately, it happened to my other wrist, so I kind of knew what to expect. I think I owe a lot to the Canadiens' medical team."

Unfortunately, his wrist will never be the same:

"You have to change things," he admitted. I think my wrist will never be the way it was, it's part of the business, it's part of the sport that we do. I'll tell you there are times that it's a little bit stiffer than others."

Above all, Drouin is looking forward to playing for Martin St. Louis.

"I'm most excited about playing with Martin between now and the start of the season. I've barely played with Martin. Everyone talks about the big change we had with the coach, but I think I played a game and a half under Martin St-Louis!"
