According to AWinningHabit.com blogger Patrick Lortie, Montreal Canadiens forward Josh Anderson is reportedly getting closer to getting traded to the New York Islanders.
In return for the big number 17, Lou Lamoriello would be willing to give a first round pick, 13th overall, in the next draft.
Will Kent Hughes accept such an offer? We'll have to wait and see.
In 69 games last season, Anderson recorded 32 points, including 19 goals. He earns $5.5 million per year through the summer of 2027.
