In his most recent article, blogger Marc-Olivier Beaudoin made a very interesting trade proposal, which is off the beaten path.
He proposes to trade Josh Anderson to the Ottawa Senators. According to him, Anderson to Ottawa would be a good fit, considering that Dorion will be looking for a good winger to support his young players.
« Pierre Dorion also said that the rebuilding was over in Ottawa and that it was time to improve the club to compete for the playoffs. And, let's face it: Pierre Dorion is not necessarily a master in the art of negotiating advantageous transactions for his club. Kent Hughes should talk to him about a potential deal involving Josh Anderson. -Marc-Olivier Beaudoin
Marc-Olivier's proposal would look like this:
Ottawa: Josh Anderson + 26th overall pick in 2022 + one other
To Montreal: 7th overall pick in 2022
Interesting, isn't it?
