It may have been a great weight off his shoulders. I don't know Beach personally and can't say how much this has weighed on his mind over the years, but based on his recent performance, he appears to be in a good mood right now.
Beach hasn't been seen on this side of the ocean since the 2015-2016 ECHL season, but he's still playing hockey overseas. For the first time since coming forward, Beach returned to his team, the TecArt Black Dragons of the German Oberliga.
Beach's team won comfortably, 8-2, and Beach himself shone in his first game back since the now infamous interview where he revealed himself to be the John Doe named in the case. With 4 goals and 5 assists in 9 games, the experienced forward has over a point per game pace with 4 goals and 5 assists.
