The NHL's Department of Player Safety has offered Los Angeles Kings forward Brendan Lemieux an in-person hearing for biting Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk. The league has not set a date or time for this meeting, indicating that Lemieux will be suspended indefinitely.
Also, in person hearings are only held when the league intends to issue a lengthy ban. A six-game suspension is required for an in-person hearing, so they may charge Lemieux for this incident.
Clearly biting shouldn't be in the game. Will he get 5 plus games? Let us know below.
