Last night, Tampa Bay played one of their best games of the Stanley Cup playoffs, but it might have cost them Nikita Kucherov.
Kuch got hit by Toews and crashed into the boards very awkwardly.
After the game, head coach Cooper and top tier defenseman Victor Hedman commented on the play.
Hedman on the cross-check on Kucherov: «It's a dangerous play. We'll see if anything happens. Probably not.»
Cooper regarding the Toews hit on Kucherov: « guys know what they're doing.»
So we can read into that he didn't like the play.
