Fanatics recently acquired the rights to manufacture the NHL's jerseys for the next 10 years, much to the disappointment of their fans. However, according to a new report, it may have gotten even worse for the league.
Nike Doesn't Want to do Business With the NHL
Despite manufacturing the jerseys for numerous international hockey tournaments in recent years, Nike has made a surprising effort to distance themselves from hockey.
Fans have gotten used to the luxury that Adidas has provided with their jersey manufacturing in recent years. Fanatics on the other hand, has gained quite the reputation for manufacturing errors and poor quality.
This deal will surely put money in the pockets of NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, but what about the fans? How will the product the fans receive be affected? Lets hope for the best.
