The NCAA Women's Basketball Championship was played Sunday night between LSU and Iowa, and according to ESPN, the championship game had a total of 9.9 million viewers. Safe to say that TV history was made two nights ago.
NHL viewership has been frustrating to fans for a while, but now it's making headlines
According to Front Office Sports, The NCAA Women's Basketball Championship garnered more viewers than ANY Stanley Cup game since 1973. Those numbers are mind boggling.
For hockey fans, it is of no doubt that the NHL playoffs are by far the most exciting and exhilarating in sports. The NHL must figure out a way to share this with the rest of the sports world.
