NHL Gives a Ridiculous Punishment to Islander Forward After Horrifying Misconduct
As we reported yesterday, New York Islanders forward Casey Cizikas was given a game misconduct after running into Blackhawks goaltender Alex Stalock.
We now have more clarity on the situation.
Due to the violent nature of the incident, it appeared almost inevitable that Cizikas would receive a suspension for this. However, he will only be punished with a $5000 fine.
