Forwards Pierre-Luc Dubois and Patrik Laine have decided not to exercise their right to go to salary arbitration.
So Dubois will sign the Jets' qualifying offer for one season, which will be around $6.65 million for the full year. He will then be one season away from becoming a free agent without compensation.
Last season, the Quebecer collected 60 points in 81 games with the Manitoba team.
Slowly but surely, Dubois is getting closer to the Tricolore.
