Hockey is an emotional sport. This causes some players to have extreme reactions when a call doesn't go their way.
In the NHL, players are generally conscious enough to hold themselves back, but in other leagues, violence occurs.
In this scene, a player violently throws his stick at a referee after a call. The referee appeared to be injured from it.
This player definitely isn't stable enough to play such an emotional sport should he be banned for life?
